Newsline for the Blind of Michigan is a free service that provides morning newspapers that are accessed through a regular push-button telephone with touch-tone service. NFB Newsline is now available for eligible persons living in the state of Michigan through a national toll-free number.

Newspapers that are available through NFB Newsline include over 50 papers such as, The New York Times, The Detroit Free Press, The Washington Post and USA Today. Eligible persons include persons who are legally blind and persons with disabilities that qualify for services from Library of Michigan, Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.

To request further information or to sign up for Newsline call and request an application from Newsline at (810) 233-4776. Please leave a message on the voice mail clearly stating and spelling your name, address and phone number. In addition, you may also sign up for Newsline by contacting the Genesee County Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped at (810) 732-1120 or call toll free (866) 732-1120.
